REMOTE LEARNING
As it is widely acknowledged, following the COVID-19 global emergency, government regulations have imposed restrictions to classoroom teaching, laboratories and internships. Yet, ITS MOST training in Ortona does not stop and continues its activities in remote learning mode.
Thanks to the collaboration of its teaching and technical staff, the training modules have been reorganized so as to allow students to follow classes remotely via Google Hangouts Meet.
First Step
If you log in for the first time, via a web browser, you will be asked to enable your camera and microphone. In case you connect from a mobile device, you will need to download Google Hangouts Meet (Android o iOS). For a platform better use, it is recommended to use headphones with attached microphone. It is possible to log in using the relevant @gmail email address provided by the institution.
Second Step
Choose the virtual area related to your class and join. If you are not registered, you can participate in the class once you receive authorization from the administrator.

Since all academic activities are monitored by the system and effectively considered as classes, it is advisable to read the BEHAVIOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS DURING REMOTE LEARNING ACTIVITIES .
ACADEMIC AND TRAINING PATH
The academic and training path takes place over two years; each year begins in October and ends the following year in July. The school year is divided into 2 semesters. Each semester, learning activities take place in classroom, laboratory and internship mode.
The course allows students to accrue academic credits which are recognized across Italian and European universities.
At the end of each semester, an intermediate exam takes place to assess learning. Upon completion of the second academic year, students are requested to sit for a final exam in order to obtain their Diploma.
Total hours of academic and training course: 1800 hours distributed over a two-year period of activities:
as following:
– 1st year: 400 hours of classroom activities; 200 hours of laboratory activities; n. 300 hours of internship.
– 2nd year : n. 400 hours of classroom activities; 200 hours of laboratory activities; 300 hours of internship.
Academic and training path main features:
– Strong commitment at University teaching level;
– Highly qualified training body on course key topics;
– Highly experienced teaching staff, coming from both the academic and business world;
– Learning methodology based on case studies development and analysis;
– Periodic evaluation tests aimed at verifying students’ learning level and reached outcomes;
– Final examination at the end of the second academic year;
– National diploma with European recognition (5th EQF level).
Internship
Through the internship, students are enabled to apply the competence and techniques acquired in the classroom and learn on the job while dealing with daily duties and responsibilities.
Two internship periods are envisaged over the two academic years. Internships generally take place in the months of May, June and July. In addition, a third short internship period is carried on in March during the first year of the course. Throughout the internship period, a company tutor is in charge of organization and evaluation.
Project Work
Internship paper is built on a project work that places the student in front of companies challenges of real interest, for which it is necessary to seek rigorous, concrete and achievable solutions, and respect the times and costs provided for the projects. An educational project work tutor is provided.
